At UCLA she helped her team win the Pac-10 tournament while collecting awards for being the top three in steals in the Pac-10 for two consecutive years and being selected to the All-Pac-10- Defensive team. After graduating from UCLA Tierra, became a 10-year member of the Rwanda Women’s National Basketball Team where she helped her team compete in the African Olympics and the African National Olympic Qualifier tournament. She played 11...
Born and raised in Pasadena, Ca, Tierra attended UCLA and was a four-year member of the Women's Basketball team with being a three-year starter. At UCLA she helped her team win the Pac-10 tournament while collecting awards for being the top three in steals in the Pac-10 for two consecutive years and being selected to the All-Pac-10- Defensive team. After graduating from UCLA Tierra, became a 10-year member of the Rwanda Women’s National Basketball Team where she helped her team compete in the African Olympics and the African National Olympic Qualifier tournament. She played 11 seasons professionally overseas in countries such as Angola, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Australia, Peru, Jordan, Lebanon, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Morocco, Thailand, and Taiwan. During her 11-year career, she accumulated 6 championships in Angola, 1 in Portugal, 1 in Jordan, and 1 in Puerto Rico.
