The Prep Hoops Top 250 Expos are back and better than ever in 2019! Last year, over 3,000 prospects showcased their talents in front of over 250+ college programs, in addition to the 500+ college programs that consume our coverage and analysis online on a daily basis.

If you are a current prospect seeking college exposure, media coverage, an increase or entry into our prospect rankings, and/or an opportunity to compete against the top talent in the state, then the Top 250 Expo is a can't miss event for you this fall.

Led by our hand selected team of experienced event directors, recruitment specialists, and coaches, when you attend the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo, you are attending the most seasoned and professional fall showcase events in America.

For all single session events, 2020/2021 prospects will compete separately from all 2022/2023 prospects.

Event Director

Duez Henderson has a history of high level, competitive basketball. As a player for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 1998-2002, he was a two-year starter and team captain. As a freshman, the Hawkeyes advanced to the Sweet Sixteen where they were beaten by the eventual NCAA Champion, University of Connecticut. As a junior, Duez helped Iowa to a 23-12 overall record and the 2001 Big Ten Tournament Championship. The Hawkeyes received an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament and eventually lost to Kentucky in the second round. Following an outstanding collegiate career, Duez played professionally in Germany for six years. As a professional player in Germany, he led the league in scoring and rebounding four times. During his final year in Germany, Duez served as head coach for Basketball Club USC Leipzig.

At Prep Hoops, our mission is to be a platform for visibility for all of those athletes - college bound prospects at all levels. The Top 250 Expos embody that mission and bring it to life, giving prospects at all levels an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of local college coaches as well as our team of evaluators.

By the time prospects start their senior year of high school, Prep Hoops will have ranked around 250 prospects in a particular state. In the majority of states nationwide, there are roughly 250 high school players capable of landing a roster spot at the collegiate level - from high major Division I to NCAA Division III, NAIA, JUCO and everything in between.
Experience, competition, and exposure. With our accomplished staff of directors and coaches, your son will be led by an elite staff who have been around the high school and grassroots basketball scene their entire lives. With our staff of contributors covering the event, we will be publishing content to PrepHoops.com where we have 400+ subscribed college programs.
Registration will close on Wednesday the week of the event at 11:59PM. Make sure you register online to guarantee your spot in the event. If you do not register online, we cannot guarantee your spot.
For single session events, doors will open for check-in at 10AM.

We will do our absolute best to have 2020/2021 prospects compete against each other and 2022/2023 prospects against each other, but in the case where we don't have enough 2022/2023 prospects registered or we are maxed out on court space, all classes 2020-2023 will be combined and compete against each other.
All coverage from the event will be posted to PrepHoops.com during the week following the event.
We do not provide film for our showcase events.
Event Insurance Purchased - Customers may request a full refund up to 24 hours before the event. Within 24 hours of the event, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds will be issued for any cancellation or notification after the event.

Event Insurance Not Purchased - Contingent on a signed and scanned physician's note that has been sent to events@prephoops.com, a full refund or credit to a future event will be offered if it is more than 48 hours before the event. Any notification received after the 48 hour window of the event will receive either a 50% refund or a credit towards a future Prep Hoops event. For all notifications received more than 48 hours after the event, no refund or future event credit will be offered.
No, parents and spectators can watch the event for free.
