What to Expect

IMPORTANT: Event Update: Online registration is closed for this event. Based on the number of registrations and the gym space available we will be accepting walk-up registrations. Walk-up registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis starting 5-10 minutes before the event start time. We can not guarantee that every athlete hoping to walk up will be accepted based on the teams and the gym space available to us.

The Freshman Showcase is specifically designed as an opportunity for the Class of 2027 to make their introduction to Prep Hoops! Show out against the top prospects in your state in front of Prep Hoops scouts.

Led by our hand-selected team of experienced event directors and court coaches, when you attend the Freshman Showcase, you are attending a showcase backed by seasoned and professional experts with no strings attached. 

The event will be streamed LIVE and stored for future viewing on BallerTV with the purchase of a BallerTV pass.

Your Event Director

Jake Sullivan graduated from Tartan High School in Oakdale, Minnesota in 2000 after scoring
3,013 points in his high school career and winning a high school state championship. Following
his high school career, Jake went on to play at Iowa State University. While at Iowa State
University, Jake was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year, three-time All-Big 12 selection, three-
time academic All-American, and still holds the career record for most made three-point field

helping to start All Iowa Attack, founding Kingdom Hoops, and since returning to Minnesota in
2018 coaching at Eden Prairie High School, D1 Minnesota, running 7-J’s basketball training and
development, while also serving as an event director for Prep Hoops since 2019.
