IMPORTANT: Event Update: Online registration is closed for this event. Based on the number of registrations and the gym space available we will be accepting walk-up registrations. Walk-up registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis starting 5-10 minutes before the event start time. We can not guarantee that every athlete hoping to walk-up will be accepted based on the teams and the gym space available to us.

The Freshman Showcase is specifically designed as an opportunity for the Class of 2027 to make their introduction to Prep Hoops! Show out against the top prospects in your state in front of Prep Hoops scouts.

Led by our hand-selected team of experienced event directors and court coaches, when you attend the Freshman Showcase, you are attending a showcase backed by seasoned and professional experts with no strings attached. 

The event will be streamed LIVE and stored for future viewing on BallerTV with the purchase of a BallerTV pass.

Your Event Director

A graduate of James Madison University, Darren played basketball and served as the team captain during the 1994-1995 and 1995-1996 seasons.

Darren played more than 14 years of professional basketball in the CBA and multiple top-level basketball clubs across the world. In 2009, Darren served as an assistant coach and director of player development in the Chinese National Basketball League. He also was the head coach for the prestigious Team Takeover AAU Nike circuit teams.
